My name is Jay and I have been in the automotive field for 28 years. I have been married for 17 years and have 4 children. I graduated high school in 1988 and while attending I went to Dutchess County Boces for automechanics and received a certificate of completion. After graduating high school I went to Denver Automotive and Diesel College (Now Lincoln School of Technology) in Denver, Colorado, I graduated from there with an Associates Degree in Automotive Technologies in late 1989. After graduating I came back to Ny and started working in the automotive field. I have worked in different shops ranging from a new car dealership to a muffler shop to a retail repair shop to a major auto repair shop that does everything from oil changes to clutches, and everything in between. I have been at my current job for just about 18 years and am 1 of 2 lead techs there. I am a certified Ny State inspector and ASE certified and L1 certified.
I do this so I can generate a little extra income for my family and I. Lets face it we all could use some help in todays economy.
